The Great Value Cinnamon Toast Sticks come in box that costs two dollars and twenty cents for twenty French toast sticks. This is a breakfast food product that can only be found at Walmart since the Great Value brand is a Walmart brand. Unlike the Aunt Jemima French Toast, which resembles the French toast served at restaurants such as Denny’s and IHOP, the Great Value Cinnamon French Toast Sticks looks and tastes a lot like the French toast served at fast foods, like Burger King, Jack in the Box and Sonic. Near the Great Value product in the refrigerated freezer case is the Farm Rich French Toast Sticks, which sell for almost twice as much money. The Great Value product is just as good as the Farm Rich brand though and even surpasses in quality the French toast sticks served at Burger King, which seem to come soft and unpleasantly undercooked more often than not.
The French toast sticks are a little thinner than the ones sold at Jack in the Box and Sonic. The smaller size is to be expected though since twenty do come in a box for a little over two dollars and that’s a very impressive value especially considering how a single order of French toast sticks cost more at either of the aforementioned fast food restaurants. The French toast sticks are easy to cook in the oven and are usually good and crispy after cooking for around ten minutes. The French toast sticks are crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The flavor of the sticks is just as pleasant as the texture is with the cinnamon taste coming through good and strong with every bite, even with powdered sugar and syrup added. Four French toast sticks, along with some scrambled eggs, toast, bacon or sausage and hash browns will leave a person feeling full and satisfied.
The Great Value Cinnamon Toast Sticks are certainly fairly priced considering how good they are and how many come in a box. The French toast sticks come out of the oven crispy and with an appetizing cinnamon aroma. The cinnamon flavor is more than satisfactory. The Great Value product definitely exceeded expectations by offering a large number of high quality French toast sticks at a low price. With these French toast sticks in one’s freezer, there’s no need to purchase the more expensive Farm Rich product or settle for four French toast sticks at a fast food restaurant that will cost more than the price of twenty French toast sticks at Walmart.
