In Forte Greene, Brooklyn, there exists one of the best boutiques to ever grace Brooklyn’s streets! I remember when this beauty maven was cooking her products in her kitchen in 1991. 10 years later, I embark on a journalistic journey at Long Island University, only to fall prey to the sweet scents seeping through 1 South Elliot Street and DeKalb Avenue. I remember distinctly investigate the fragrances that blanket the air. My exploring led me to Carol’s Daughter.
Here exists my favorite oil, the infamous Tui Oil, which once resided in a $3.00 bottle, but then again, Lisa was still grinding as well. It astound me to see her as successful as they come! I have been a lifetime member for years, and even down to the marketing and labeling bring tears of joy to my eyes. To witness transformation is truly spectacular.
Lisa’s products are all natural and just basically heavenly. I also adore the Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner, the Rosemary Mint Shampoo, and let’s not forget the Lisa’s Hair Elixir (peppermint oil).
To see the progress of success first hand, I must say, that nothing isn’t possible without the desire and energy invested in making it a reality. Lisa is the prime example of success. And it all originated in Brooklyn.
