This year, there are many different activities and events being held all around Brevard county. Many are little to no cost, as well as fun for the whole family. All of the following events can be found at http://www.brevardcounty.us/calendar/ as well as additional information and contact info.
On October 29Th, You can go to Rotary Park nature center in Merritt Island, for their Owl-O-Ween event. They will be offering crafts, face painting and nature themed activities all about owls. Cost is $3 and is taking place between 6pm and 8pm.
If free is more your thing, there is both a Fall Festival and Harvest Festivals in Cocoa and Merritt Island. Both are between 6 and 8 pm. The Harvest Festivals offer activities and candy for children 12 and younger and will be held at Joe Lee Smith Park(Cocoa), and Woody Simpson Park(Merritt Island).The fall festival in Cocoa offers free Halloween and Fall games, activities and candy for all ages, and will be held at Cocoa West Recreation Complex (Cocoa).
In Melbourne, they will be holding a Harvest Family Fun night in Melbourne. Cost is $2 per person, and is available for youth aged 3-13 between 6 and 8 pm.There will be games, a costume contest, dancing and concession available. Located at the Grant Street Community Center.
In Merritt Island on October 30Th there will be a ‘Pumpkin Patch Spook-tacular’ at Kiwanis Island Park. Games prizes and candy for children ages 3 and up, $5 per person between 6 and 8 pm.
And in Rockledge on October 30Th you can attend the Halloween Party between 1 and 3pm at McLarty Park for children ages 11 and under, $2 per person.
