Recent research has sparked a controversial debate on the safety and effectiveness of vaccinations and as a result many parents are confused by the conflicting information they receive and lack guidance on how make informed choices. A forum held by the health advocacy group New Yorkers for Vaccination Information and Choice held on Sunday, November 1, 4-5:30 PM at Gumbo in Boerum Hill addresses this issue.
NYVIC is committed to providing information and support to families and individuals who want to make informed choices regarding vaccination. This forum will feature talks from health advocates who provide information about the possible dangers of vaccinations, research into their possible relation to autism, ADHD, speech delay and neurological disorders; offering differing opinions on the subject and legal advice for those who choose to refuse vaccinations.
