Turkey Day Run and Wobble Gobble
Before you stuff your faces with food and thank everyone and everything for all you have and who you are, go on this annual 5k run. There are usually 5000 participants as well as prizes, costume contest, music and so much more. A fun way to start the holiday. (Raise money for local charities.)

Dancers, a “wedding”, music, stories, fashion shows and so much more at this fantastic celebration for Kwanzaa this year. It is open to anyone who would like to share in the occasion and learn more about the holiday. Thirty-seven minutes east of Rocky Mount.
