In this Horde guide, I will show you how to set up your display options in your web mail account. This guide will show you where you find your web mail display options and how to go about changing them to what you want. If you are new to using Horde, continue reading this guide to learn more about your display options.
Your display options are located under your global options section. On the left side of your web mail account, find the Options link with the plus sign. Click the plus sign and you will see the Global Options link. Click that link and you will see the different options load on the right side of your web mail account.
On the right side of your page, find the Display Options link and click it. Your display options page will now open and this is where you will change your options. Below you will find your display options and I will briefly explain what each one is.
What application should Horde display after login? – When you first login to your web mail, you have the option of seeing what you want to see. For example, if you want your calendar to display when you login, you can select your calendar. Drop this box down and select what you want to see when you first login to your web mail account.
Show last login time when logging in? – If you want Horde to show you the last time you were logged in, you can check this box.
Select your color scheme – You can drop this box down and select the color theme of your choice.
Show the Horde Menu on the left? – By default, the Horde menu is shown on the left. If you want to remove the menu from the left, you can uncheck this box.
Width of the Horde menu on the left (takes effect on next log-in) – If you are keeping your menu on the left, you can change the size of the menu if you want. In this box, you can delete the size and enter the size you want. The size will not take affect until you log out and log back into your email.
When you are finished, you will need to click the Save Options button. Your display options will then be saved and you will be returned to the options page.
