Today is September 11, 2010, the 9th anniversary of 9/11. 9 years ago almost 3,000 innocent people were killed when 2 planes blew up the World Trade Center. Today family and friends take the day to remember their loved ones by carrying pictures, lighting candles and saying prayers. Unfortunately for some odd reason people will be searching for the complete list of people killed in the 9/11.
Right now on almost every popular television channel they are having a “Remember 9/11” special which is showing different people reading off the victims names who were killed September 11. The names are going by very fast, so it’s kind of hard for people to actually see if their loved one is on the list. As of right now they are on the letter “S.”, which means this ceremony will go on for at least another 2 hours or so.
If you are searching for the names of the people killed, I will help you out by giving you a website I found which has almost every person on it. The list can be found here.
Although this was the saddest day I have witnessed, the worst part was finding out how many children actually died on this day. There was 8 children who died on 9/11. The youngest child was only 2 years old, and the oldest child was 11. It just breaks my heart that these poor innocent children had to die so young, because of one of the worst terrorist attacks in history. I can not imagine being one of the parents that had to witness their child’s death after the attacks. May all these families have strength to get through this horrible day of remembrance.
Now if for some odd reason you can not find the person’s name on the list mentioned above, head over to this website. This website will also give you the American Airlines Flight 11 people names, flight 77, flight 175, pentagon and more.
