I love and cannot imagine my life pre IPhone, but this phone is and has definitely not only changed my life but is changing a whole generations life and how we will live. I must say that the IPhone has changed my life in both positive and negative ways. From the moment it came in the mail my life has been consumed.
For a brief moment before I downloaded Pandora there was a quiet and blissful moment with just me and my IPhone. For the first few months it was great my boredom was solved, with all the cool new apps to find, download and play I had a constant stream of fun games to fill my down time with. Boredom still is solved but the fun new apps have taken over, between making sure my Restaurant Story has food cooking, and my City Story has enough business to outweigh the population, and battling my friends on Words with Friends I have found that I need a vacation from my IPhone.
The great thing with the IPhone is that there are many ways to connect with friends, co-workers, or businesses that I need to contact thorough out my day. The down side to that is that the level of quality that I communicate with my friends has decreased. So long to deep and connected conversations and hello to constant facebook comments.
My love life with my boyfriend has gone out the window. The sad thing about it is that we are in the same room with each other playing games on the phone, sometimes against each other, instead of talking about our day, and sometimes one will even fall asleep playing on the phone. Although the advancement of the IPhone 4’s video chat has great possibilities, but until I get one that feature is useless to us.
