In this tutorial, I will show you how to add borders to your photos in CamtoPrint. It doesn’t matter what type of photo project you are creating, the borders are applied the same way to the photos. The borders are different from the frames and masks. The borders are a solid color line around the photos. If you need help with framing and masking your photos in CamtoPrint, please see my tutorials on those topics.
To begin using this tutorial, you should already have your photo project open. If you do not, go ahead and open it and then you can continue with this tutorial. If you want to add a border to all of the photos in the project, you can, but you will have to do them one at a time.
You will need to select one of the photos you want to add the border to by clicking it with your mouse. Once the photo is selected, you will see a box around the photo. Now you will need to look for the Border Settings button above your photo project. It is in your editing window, right above your photo project, to the left of it. Once you find the Border Settings button, click it.
When the border settings box opens, you will see your options for creating a border around your photos. Make sure the Border to Image box is checked. If it isn’t, you will need to check it in order to apply the border. Next, you will want to select the color border you want to use. Click the Color box and click the color you want to use. Then you can select the size you want the border to be in the size box.
If you want to apply a shadow to the border, you can check the shadow box. Then you can change the shadow to the size you want. When you have your photo’s border the way you want it, click the Continue button to apply it.
The box will close and you will be able to see the border you just created. You can now click another photo and repeat the above steps to create a border for that photo. If you need to edit a photo’s border, you can click the photo and click the Border Settings button again. When the box opens, you can then edit the border settings. Click Continue to update the settings.
