Digg.com has an option to set up an auto submit function using the RSS feed of your content. You must obtain your RSS feed from Associated content, provide it to dig, and verify your account with a code to get Digg.com to properly import your articles. Follow these simple steps to set this up to work for your Associated Content articles:
Navigate to Digg.com import feeds setting
Travel to Digg.com, and click on settings. When there click on import feeds. You will see a box that says “Auto Submit Content”
Obtain your Associated Content RSS feed URL
Open a new tab and go to associatedcontent.com, and navigate to your profile. At the top of your profile will be a box with a few button you can press, share, add favorites, subscribe, RSS, and contact are the titles of the buttons. Click on RSS, and a new window will pop up. Ignore all the check boxes and such unless you want to only submit a specific category of story to Digg.com At the very bottom right of the new pop up will be a link. Right click the link and click save shortcut as. The link will look like this:
http://www.associatedcontent.com/rss/user_857168.xml (do not use this feed. It is my feed not yours, and would benefit you at all)
Back to Digg.com
Paste the URL into the box, choose the appropriate options, and click submit. You will need to then find a way to post your validation key. I initially posted it inside this article, and made it display only. It takes Associated Content a long time to update your RSS feed, but once it is updated click validate, and it will save your feed to Digg.com I then edited the code out of this article.
Once you have validated the feed Digg.com will auto-submit all your future articles.
