If you are using TikiWiki CMS and need to change the email address and password for a user, follow these steps in this tutorial. You can change both the email address and the password or one or the other. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to find this section in TikiWiki and I will show you how to change the information. Once the information is changed, you will need to send the user an email letting them know of the changes and what the new information is.
Opening Your Users Panel in TikiWiki
To get started, login to your admin area. Then look on the left side of the page, near the bottom, and find the Users link. Click the Users link and the page will reload. On this page, make sure the Users button is clicked. If the users button is clicked, then you will see a list of the users on your site.
Browse through the users to find the user you want to change the information on. If you have a ton of users on your site, it may be best to use the Find tool. Simply type the users name in the Find box and click Find. When the results return, you will see the user’s name.
Changing the User’s Email and Password in TikiWiki
Once you have located the user, find the wrench tool in the Action column. Click the Wrench and the page will reload. Once the page reloads, you will see the email and password information.
In these fields, you will need to type the new information for the user. If you are only doing one or the other, fill in the field you are wanting to change. When you are finished, click the Change Administrative Info button at the bottom of the box. The information will now be changed.
If you have more to change, return to the users page, select another use and repeat the steps above.
