In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to change your TikiWiki Theme. When you install your TikiWiki CMS, you will have about 8 different themes to choose from. These themes are already installed when you install the CMS. In this tutorial, we will focus on how to change your theme using the themes in TikiWiki. To learn more about themes, please see my other tutorials on the TikiWiki themes. To get started with this themes tutorial, you will need to login to your admin panel.
Opening the Themes Manager in TikiWiki CMS
We will begin with opening the themes manager in TikiWiki. On the left side of your page, look for the Admin Home link and click it. This is the page you will see right after you log into your admin panel. After you have clicked the Admin Home link, you will see the rows of boxes on the right side of the page. Look for the Look and Feel box and click it. Now you will need to click the Themes tab at the top of the box if it is not already clicked. Your themes manager is now opened.
Changing Your Theme in TikiWiki CMS
Now that you have your themes manager open, you can start browsing through the themes. At the top of the panel, you will see the Theme box. Drop this box down and you will see the themes that are available for you to use. You can click a theme and you will see a preview of it to the right of the box. Click through the different themes to see what each one of them looks like. Once you have found a theme that you think you may want to apply, apply it and see it you like it. To apply it, you will need to click the Apply button right above the top of the manager. The page will reload and you can open your home page to see if you like the theme.
If you do not like the theme, go back to the theme manager and select another theme. Click the Apply button and view your homepage again. Continue doing this until you find a theme you like.
