If you have recently installed Drupal to create your website, this tutorial will help you with the blocks. The site blocks are the different sections you have on your site. In this tutorial, I will show you how to configure the site blocks in Drupal. You can start by logging in as admin in your Drupal site. Then go to the administration area.
Opening Your Drupal Site Blocks
You will need to start by opening your Drupal site blocks section. On the left side of your page, click the Administrator link and you will see the sublinks appear. Find the Site Building link and click it. Then click the Blocks link that is located under that. That will redirect you to the blocks configuration section.
Configuring Your Site Blocks in Drupal
The page you are on now is where you will do your configuring. You will probably have to scroll down the page a little to see the site blocks. Once you see them, you will see all of the blocks that are on your site. Keep in mind that all of the blocks may not be active.
Let’s begin with moving your site blocks. If you want to move a site block from the left panel to the right panel, for example, do this. Find the block you want to move. In the Region column, you will need to drop the box down and select where you want to move it to. You will need to save it before you exit this page.
Once you have decided and moved the site blocks to where you want them, you can move onto other things. If you want to activate site blocks in Drupal that are disabled, follow these steps. Scroll down to the Disable box. Locate a block that you want to enable. When you find the box, you will need to drop the box down and select where you want to place the box.
When you are finished with this page, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button. You can then visit the home page of your Drupal site and see the changes you have made. You can make these changes at any time by coming back to this page.
