If you are new to using the Task Coach program, this tutorial will help you with creating new tasks and managing those tasks. As for managing your tasks, you can edit the tasks you have already created and delete tasks you have completed or no longer need. To get started, you will need to load your Task Coach program.
How to Create a New Task in Task Coach
Let’s begin with creating a new task in Task Coach. There are a couple of ways to open the box to create a new task. The first way is to click the Task menu at the top of your program. Once the menu opens, click the New option. The box will open and you will need to fill in the fields to create the new task. All of the fields are not required. However, you will need to make sure it has a title. That way you will know what task is what. When you are finished filling in the fields, you can click the Ok button to create the new task. You will then see the task added to your program.
You can also click the white paper icon with the orange dot to create a new task. That will open the task box and you can create your new task.
How to Edit Your Tasks in Task Coach
Next, I will show you how to edit your task in Task Coach. To edit the task, you will first need to select the task in the window that you want to edit. Then go to the top of your program and click the Task menu. When the menu opens, click Edit Task. The box will open and you can edit what you need and then click the OK button.
How to Delete Tasks in Task Coach
If you need to delete a task in Task Coach, follow these steps. Find the task you want to delete and select it by clicking it. Then you can click the Task menu at the top of the program. In the menu, click the Delete Task option.
