With the Ecard Wizard greeting card software, you have two options for creating greeting cards. Your first option is to use a template. Your second option is to create your own from scratch. This guide will show you how to create a greeting card in Ecard Wizard using a template. When you use a template, everything is pretty much done for you. All you have to do is edit the text. You can edit other things like the clipart. That is completely up to you. I will show you how to use a template and edit it in Ecard Wizard.
Step 1 – Selecting Your Template in Ecard Wizard
Your first step is to select the template you want to use for the greeting card you are creating. When you load your program, you will see the box open with the different options. Click the Use Card Template option. Once you click this option, you will see the template box open. On the left side of the template box, you will see the different categories. Click a category to view the card templates. Once you find a template you want to use, you can click it in the right panel and click the OK button at the bottom of the box.
Step 2 – Selecting the Greeting Card Layout in Ecard Wizard
The next box that opens will ask you to select the layout of your card. You can choose a half fold, quarter fold, or one of the other options. Click the layout you want to use and click the OK button. Your card will then load in the Ecard Wizard program.
Step 3 – Editing the Greeting Card Text in Ecard Wizard
When your card opens, you will need to edit the text on the card. At the bottom of your card, in the middle panel, you will see the front of the card, the inside of the card, and the back of the card icons. Clicking one of these will load that section of the card.
To add text, you will need to open the section of the card you want to add the text to. Then click the Add Text button on the left side of your program. Enter your text in the box and make your changes to the color, font, and size. Then insert the text.
If you want to edit text that is already on the card, simply click it and delete the text. Then type what you want. If you simply want to edit the font, color, or size of the text that is already on the card, you can click it to select it and use the text tools to make your changes.
Step 4 – Editing the Clipart on the Greeting Card in Ecard Wizard
To edit the clipart, you will first need to click it to select it. You can then move it around your card, or you can resize it. To move it around your card, click it with your mouse and drag it. To resize it, click it to select it and drag one of the corners. Drag the corner toward the center if you want to make it smaller, or away from the center if you want to make it larger. To delete clipart from the card, you can click it and press Delete on your keyboard.
Step 5 – Saving Your Greeting Card in Ecard Wizard
When you are finished with your greeting card, you can go to the top of Ecard Wizard and click the File menu. In the file menu, click the Export option and follow the steps to export your greeting card.
