If you would like to create a FAQ section for your website and you are using the TikiWiki CMS software, continue reading this tutorial. This tutorial will walk you through the steps of creating the section to add to your website. You must first install this feature. If you need help with installing the FAQ section feature, please see my tutorial on installing the feature to get more help with that.
You will need to login to the admin panel of TikiWiki to begin using this tutorial. Then you will need to click the List FAQ link found under the FAQ folder on the left side of your page. In the middle of the page, you will need to click the Create button. This button should be at the top of the box on the right side of the page.
Now the page will load where you can create your FAQ section. If you want to create different categories for your FAQ, you will need to do that before creating your sections. You can click the Category link in the left panel and create the categories from that section. If you need help with that, please see my tutorial on creating categories in TikiWiki. After you have created your categories, make your way back to the FAQ section.
Once you click the Create button, you will see the title field, description field, category field, and the users field. Enter your title and description for the question you are creating. Then click the category button and select the category you want to place this question in. If you are not using categories, you can skip this part. If you want to allow users to suggest questions and answers, check the users box.
When you are ready to create your first FAQ, you will need to click the Save button. Your question will then be added to your site. The page will refresh and you can create another FAQ if you would like. You can continue doing this until you have your section completed. If you need help with managing your FAQ section, please view my tutorial on managing your FAQ section in TikiWiki.
