Black Friday is known for it’s great deals. It makes a yearly promise to shoppers that they will get all kinds of things at rock bottom prices. Several stores such as Target or Walmart already have a reputation for selling merchandise at a less expensive price, than other retail stores and when Black Friday hits, swarms of people wait for less expensive stores like Walmart to drop their prices to unbelievably low and almost ridiculous levels. Some past black Fridays have boasted of two and three dollar appliances, severely under-priced television sets and other price cuts.
However, with all of the goodies at Walmart on Black Friday, if you don’t know what’s selling and you don’t know where to find the ads, you’re plain out of luck. However, it’s very easy to find Walmart Black Friday ads. To do so, utilize two things: The internet and your local newspaper.
I’ve used my newspaper to find Black Friday ads. However, many times by the time the ads hit the paper, other people have already caught on to the sales. One particular Friday, I actually bought a newspaper to check out some ads at about 5:00 in the morning, the day the sale was taking place. That wasn’t too good of an idea as traffic was packed, and the lines were so long inside the store that it was quite a fight for me because I was just trying to do a little bit of shopping before I went to work. Therefore, while the paper is good for ads, it may not be the best alternative due to competition.
Another thing you can do is perform a Google search for Walmart Black Friday ads. You’ll find a slew of websites offering notifications and advertisements on sales. However, if you do the search too early, you may have to enter your email address so you can be put on a list to receive the ads in your email inbox when they become available. Be sure to monitor your inbox closely to ensure you aren’t getting spammed. For more information, during the month of November, and maybe even as early as late October, check the Walmart website to see if it has posted any updates about Black Friday. Stores know they can stand to gain a lot from customers who are well informed about their sales, so they’re eager to keep you updated on what’s going on. Plus, you’ll want to try and beat the consumer competition anyway you can.
