Make earrings cards to display those lovely earrings you made. With just a couple of inexpensive supplies your earrings will look good on display.
Supplies You’ll Need to Make Earring Cards
– Scraps of scrapbook paper or any pretty paper
– Glue or decoupage medium
– 2-pronged meat fork or ice pick
Cut Out the Cardboard and Paper
Decide how large you want the earring cards to be. Cut out a piece of cardboard and a piece of scrapbook or other paper the same size. Use old cereal boxes, packing boxes, tissue boxes, whatever you have on hand.
Glue the Two Together
Use a paintbrush to apply glue or decoupage medium to the cardboard. Set the scrapbook paper on top and press down all of the edges. Let the cardboard and paper dry completely.
Punch Holes in the Earring Card
Use a 2-prong meat fork and pierce through the cardboard from front to back. If you don’t have a meat fork, use an ice pick. Take care to punch through so the two holes are level.
Insert the Earrings on the Earring Card
Slip the earring wires through the holes and display the earrings.
