Although I did not create this recipe it was given to me and is tremendous. It’s been so long I even forgot who gave it to me. So try making this egg nog for the holiday season and you will be glad you did.
1-lb. of powdered sugar
4-packages of vanilla sugar
6-tablespoons of dark rum
2-large cans of evaporated milk
1-ltr. of vodka
Beat the eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add the rum and continue to beat slowly
Add the evaporated milk (slowly) and still beat slowly
Add vodka (slowly) keep beating
This makes about 3 quarts so an empty gallon milk jug is perfect to pour it into. Do not fill the bottles to the top. Shake bottle every day for at least a week. Keep cold at all times and do not try to make a double batch. If you want more make 2 separate batches.
