The Harry Potter book and movie series has been a smashing hit for the last ten years. With Halloween, the colder weather and Part 1 of the 7th Harry Potter movie coming out in November, Harry Potter’s butterbeer is going to be a popular item all around. It’s a simple recipe and family friendly too!
1 cup cream soda (per 2 drinks)
1/2 cup butterscotch ice cream syrup
1/2 tbs butter
Pour the butter and butterscotch syrup into a microwaveable glass and heat on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Make sure that the butter is completely incorporated and the syrup is warm.
Stir the syrup and butter mixture to cool it- about 30 seconds. Pour in the cream soda- it will fizz a lot and possibly over flow.
Pour into two standard sized mugs or small glasses.
