If you want to bring man’s best friend to the dog park, you’re going to need a license to do so, and a dog park pass. Both are renewable every year.
If you’re a non-resident who wants to walk your pooch in the park, you’ve unfortunately already missed your chance this go-around, as non-resident passes sold out last month for 2010. For residents, however, you still have a chance to sign up.
A resident dog park pass is required to be in the park. You must fill out an application, which can be found on the city website . You need proof of all vaccinations in-hand when you apply. Your dog’s license will already be registered with the city, so unlike a non-resident, you won’t need a copy of it. Fees for residents this year are $40. Your application is taken to the city clerk, who has limited hours Monday through Thursday only.
