In this guide, I am going to walk you through the steps of setting up your general site settings in PHP Nuke. This guide will show you where to find your general settings and it will show you how to change them. You can begin by logging into the administrator section of your PHP Nuke site. Then you will need to open the Admin area.
In the admin area, you will need to locate the Administrator Panel on the right side of the page. In this panel, you will see the Preferences button. Click that button to load your general settings for your PHP Nuke site. The page will reload and you will need to scroll down to where it says, “General Site Info.” This is where you will change your general site settings. Let’s take a look at the options found in this section.
Site Name – Enter your website’s name in this field.
Site URL – Enter the URL to the index page in this field. If the URL in this field is right, you can leave it as it is.
Site Logo – If you have a logo you would like to use, you will need to upload it to your site and type the location in this field.
Site Slogan – If you have a site slogan, this is where you will enter the slogan. It will be displayed right below your site name.
Site Start Date – If you want to enter a site start date, which is the day your site started, you can do it in this field.
Administrator Email – This is the email address you will be contacted at by people who need to reach admin. Enter the address you want to use in this field.
When you are finished filling in the above fields, you will need to save your changes. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button. Your changes will then be saved.
