Many claim that having plants in your space helps to bring about a sense of calmness both inside and outside your home. Having a few potted plants around your desk and office will help to reduce stress and allows you eye the opportunity to focus on something other that your computer screen. Having a disorganized mass of paper and other clutter increases stress levels. There is even term that was created to describe the resulting stress – irritable desk syndrome. This makes it extremely important to make sure that you take precautions like drinking plenty of fluids when you are outside in the heat, or regularly moving and stretching your muscles when you are in the cold.
