I am the Potter and you are the clay.
The potter will come to a mound of clay then grab some and put it in water to mix it to fine muddy clay.
He be again to mold it on the around table to shape it into a little cup. But after awhile the clay would not work into the mold he really wanted it to in turn to. So he took the clay aside then began to talk to it and said you must become a fine little cup that will be used for a Great King in your life time. You must be the most beautiful cup ever. Then the other cups will love you the most. Because you are so beautiful and amazing to look at that other would envy you forever.
Then the Potter took the clay and began to mold it into a cup. But the clay still tried to give the Potter a hard time molding it to a cup. So the Potter talked to the clay so sweetly, talk it into working with the Potter to mold it into a cup. Then the clay began to shape into such a beautiful cup that had never been seen before.
The Potter took the cup and let it sit for a few days to dry. The cup began to think that he was so ugly that no one in the world would ever even want to look at me or buy me. He said I am so ruff around the edges and sharp to the touch. Who in the world would want something like me?
After the few days went by the Potter picked up the cup and began to cut off the ruff spots. Then he took and sanded it to a fine smooth surface. While all this was going on, the cup was saying you are hurting me when you were cutting the edges off of me and it felt like you were going to kill me.
Then the Potter started to take paint and put such a beautiful design on the cup that made this one so special that the cup thought that he was going to be something special.
So, the Potter set the cup on the top shelf to let it dry. The cup thought that the Potter was done with him and he would not be used for anything but sit on that shelf forever.
A few days later the cup seen the Potter come in and made the furnace very hot close to him and it felt so good. But when the cup started to feel real nice the Potter took the cup and put him in the furnace to where the furnace was so hot that the cup began to think that he was going to die. He said to the potter, do you really want to kill me in this heat. It is getting so hot that I can’t take much more of this please get me out of here now or I will die. But the Potter did not hear him and just turned up the heat higher. The cup then thought that this is surly going to kill me now for sure. Now that it is so hot that the walls inside the furnace were turning red with heat. And the cup side it won’t belong now and I’ll be dead for sure.
Soon after the heat started to go down and the cup side thank God he turned off the heat I was not able to take much more of this or I shell die for sure.
Then when the cup came to a normal temperature the Potter took the cup and polished the cup for all to see.
When the Potter gave the cup to the King the King love is so much that he put it for all to see. After that the cup became so special that it was set in a museum that all may see. Thousands of people came just to see the beautiful cup.
The Potter is the Lord God and the cup is man kind.
The fire is the things in life that come to kill us in life when we think we can not take much more. But when we are made beautiful through Jesus Christ the Great King, He will set us up in this museum that all may see.
So, if life gets to hard and things just get to hot remember the Potter knows what he is doing and you will make it through. Then put you up for all to see.
“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
God is always with you where ever you go. Just lean on him and He will lift you up for all to see…
