Voices from the Planet takes the reader on a literary excursion through the boundless universe of international short story telling. The diverse collection of short stories explores characters who inhabit every corner of the planet from fire dancing in the Bulgarian mountains, love in the jungles of Peru, the human drama of an African environmental catastrophe, the American cultural revolution of the 60s to the world of pre 9/11 high finance. The anthology features varied and unique fiction from new and established award winning authors from around the globe, Congo, China, Bulgaria, Belgium, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Scotland, Finland, England and the United States.
Unnameable Books in Prospect Heights will be hosting readings from contributing authors to the new anthology edited by Red Room author Charles Degelman. They are participating to benefit Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian organization that provides medical assistance to people affected by armed conflict and natural disasters in dozens of countries around the world.
