The unpredictable Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Jerry’s House for a game against disappointing Dallas Cowboys October 31st, Halloween. Dallas Cowboys Offense vs Jacksonville Jaguars Defense
Tony Romo is now out for a minimum of six weeks and this will leave the Dallas Cowboys with 38 year-old Jon Kitna under center. Many NFL pundits are actually seeing this as a good thing for the reeling Dallas Cowboys. With Kitna in the line up, the running game will have to take center stage in the beginning. The offensive balance has been off kilter this season and this may get the Dallas Cowboys back in shape.
The Jacksonville Jaguars defense has been inconsistent to this point of the season. They have been consistent at giving up nearly 130 yards on the ground each week. Against the pass, the Jacksonville Jaguars
have been giving up over 250 yards and their bend don’t break defense has left them giving up over 370 total yards a game and 30 total points a game. Take the Dallas Cowboys offense over the Jacksonville Jaguars defense.
Jacksonville Jaguars Offense vs Dallas Cowboys Defense
Todd Bauman of the Jacksonville Jaguars has come out of nowhere as the starting quarterback and lit up the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend in a loss. Aside from the surprising performance of Bauman last weekend, Maurice Jones-Drew performance was below his standards. Jones-Drew only rushed for 47 yards but he did have 74 yards receiving in the Jacksonville Jaguars loss.
The Dallas Cowboys defense has made plenty of excuses for why the team is 1-5 and heading to a losing season. 317 yards of total offense have been racked up by the opponents of the Dallas Cowboys but overall the Dallas Cowboys defensive numbers are not the worst in the league. The defense should be able to keep the wraps on Bauman and Jones-Drew in this game. The Dallas Cowboys defense will have the edge over the Jacksonville Jaguars defense.
