It was down to five dancers on “Dancing With the Stars”. The stars had to compete a new instant dance, only knowing the type of dance they were to perform and only having minutes to practice with the actually song. This could mean a lot of mistakes could easily occur.
Jennifer Gray suffered a injury, a tear to her ligament above her knee. She had to decide whether it was time to quit or “Face the Music and Dance”. She chose to face the music and danced, after getting a pep talk from her father (also an actor).
How did all the dancers do?
First, here is the scoring for the normal dances they performed:
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 27 (performing a Viennese Waltz)
Jennifer Gray and Derek Hough: 27 (performing the Quick Step)
Kurt Warner and Anna Treburnskaya: 24 (performing a Waltz)
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 24 (performing a Tango)
Brandy Norwood and Maksim Chmerkouskiy: 29 (performing a Waltz)
Next up was the Instant Dance and the dancers got the following scores:
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 29 (performing a Jive), giving them a total score of 56
Jennifer Gray and Derek Hough: 30 (performing a Rumba) giving them a total score of 57.
Kurt Warner and Anna Treburnskaya: 24 (performing a ChaCha) giving them a total score of 48
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 23 (performing a Samba) giving them a total score of 47.
Brandy Norwood and Maksmim Chmerkouskiy: 28 (performing a ChaCha) giving them a total score of 57
This, of course, meant that Jennifer and Brandy tied for the top spot on the leader board, once again. Now it is up to the viewers.
