It is being reported that Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has walked out on the show “Jersey Shore” last week after seeing recaps of Season 2 that revealed her boyfriend, Ronnie, was cheating on her. Radar Online reports that Sammi Giancola was unaware that her boyfriend, Ronnie Magro, was cheating on her during the shooting of “Jersey Shore” Season 2 in Miami’s South Beach. During a viewing of the Season 2 episodes during a filming of the recap, she was made all too aware as Ronnie Magro moved from girl to girl night after night before crawling into bed with her.
A source close to the “Jersey Shore” situation told the gossip website, “Sammi was angry and hurt by everyone. She couldn’t believe Ronnie did this and the girls hadn’t really told her. She just couldn’t stay living with the person who did this to her, so she moved out.”
The cast is currently shooting Season 3 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the site of the original filming of the hit MTV reality show. It is unclear what the walk-out means in terms of Sammi Giancola’s relationship with the show, not to mention a Season 4. It is pretty clear, however, that she was not amused by her drunken boyfriend’s antics.
Those who watch “Jersey Shore” know that Ronnie Magro has been playing the field during Season 2, getting schloshed, hooking up with other girls, then getting into bed with his girlfriend, Sammi. As is implied in the term “cheating,” he did so without letting her in on his drunken prowlings.
“She had to find out in front of everyone that her boyfriend was lying to her and treating her like hell,” “If he didn’t want to be with her anymore why do that on national TV in front of everyone? He embarrassed her in front of 5.5 million people.”
The last comment might be an understatement. There are millions of individuals that do not necessarily watch the show but have kept up with the goings-on of the cast members of “Jersey Shore” since it first began to air.
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola’s walkout is just the latest drama in a reality show fraught with controversy and scandal. The show aired to controversy over the cast members’ usage of foul language and their partying activities not being representative of the Italian-American community or Jersey Shore (none of the cast members were from the area). More recently, Snooki Polizzi and Ronnie Magro were both arrested. She was taken in for disturbing some people at the beach, and he was picked up for not paying parking tickets.
