Kanye West apologizes to Taylor Swift — again — this time he is expressing his thoughts and feelings via Twitter. We all remember the infamous outburst at the MTV Video Music Awards last year. Kanye West crashed the stage, and took the microphone away from Taylor Swift, proclaiming that Beyonce should have received the award. In bad taste right? That was the general consensus at the time. When it happened, it felt like time stopped, but you simply had to keep watching the entire fiasco. Although it was not the first time Kanye had publicly experienced diarrhea of the mouth — for the public right then and there — it was a last straw of sorts.
Now Kanye wants the whole world to know — once again — that he is truly sorry. He realizes the error of his ways. The words “I’M SORRY TAYLOR” currently appear at the top of Kanye’s official Twitter page. But is he simply playing up the apology, before the upcoming September 12, MTV Video Music Awards?
Via Twitter —
When I woke up from the crazy nightmare I looked in the mirror and said GROW UP KANYE … I take the responsibility for my actions…
I am not a bad person. Even in that moment I was only trying to do good but people don’t always need my help…
Regardless of his past indiscretions, people cannot deny the fact that the young man is a musical genius. Does that excuse being a jackass, and literally stealing Swift’s special moment on stage? No, and for his own sake, we hope that he has genuinely learned a lesson over the course of the past year.
According to Yahoo! Music–
The multiplatinum, Grammy-winning superstar had been one of the decade’s most successful and critically acclaimed stars, despite sometimes boorish behavior and meltdowns at other awards shows when things did not go his way. However, when he upstaged Swift – the then-teenage darling of pop and country music worlds – the public had had enough. There was tremendous backlash against West – even President Barack Obama was caught calling him a “jackass.”
Fast forward to September 2010 — we have Kanye West on Twitter with over 981,000 followers. Who is Kanye following? Only two people — Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift of course.
Aside from the most recent apology, he says that he has written a song for Swift. Perhaps it is intended to represent a peace offering of sorts. It may be a tad overboard for die hard Kanye fans.
We have to admit that we definitely love reading about Kanye West’s feelings on Twitter. In terms of celebrities — he is one guy where people often ponder — what in the world was he thinking? Thanks to Twitter — now we all know.
He said via Twitter —
People tweeted that they wish I was dead… No listen. They wanted me to die people. I carry that. I smile and take pictures through that…
Kanye West has a new album that is scheduled to drop on November 16. After being booed at performances, having the media crucify him and seeing people say they wish he was dead — Kanye now claims that the ego is totally done. He is over being his own worst enemy. But is it all true? Only time will tell.
