There was a time when Jon Gosselin commanded attention as he lived it up with other women and flaunted his Ed Hardy clothing. But Jon’s 15 minutes are long over as Kate Gosselin continues to dominate the news. We all remember when Kate Gosselin on People magazine showed the world her new blonde hair extensions. It was quite a change from the short blonde style that she was famous for. But now, Kate’s got more to make Jon see what he gave up – a fit body, fitter than many women who have never had children. Why do it? According to Kate, “I’ve worked really hard! Haven’t I earned the right, at this point, to look good?”

The last vivid memory we have of Kate Gosselin is her less than wonderful stint on Dancing with the Stars. Rumors hit the press that Kate Gosselin was a train wreck, a diva who didn’t get along with other cast members and who insisted her bodyguard follow her around. She was loved on Jon & Kate Plus 8. She was loved even more when people saw Jon Gosselin as the equivalent of a jerk. But the tables have turned on Kate. Can Kate Gosselin on People magazine become the single mom that the public roots for as she continues on her path in life? She can only hope.
