So I’ve been following the 11th season of Dancing With the Stars weekly and it’s come down to the final show and I need to write about it, right? We’ll I’d love to give a nice, detailed write-up about the last episode of Dancing With the Stars but there are a few reasons why I’m not:
*My daughter has had a 102+ fever for three days and has strep throat.
*I’ve needed a large quantity of caffeine in the mornings after doing cool compresses at 4:00 a.m. for the last three nights.
*We are having Christmas with family during Thanksgiving, which means I am packing, wrapping, packing some more.
*My brother stopped by and stayed with my family and I on his way to see his neurologist, and we’re praying for positive results..
So after watching segments of my DVR’d last episode, here is a quick recap:
Christina Aquilera gave amazing performances.
David Hasselhof did not, but he’s convinced he did, even though it was tongue in cheek.
Jennifer Grey almost couldn’t dance because she ruptured a disc in her spine last night.
Rick Fox and Kurt Warner were as classy as ever during their performance.
There were dramatic recaps of dramatic moments.
Thank goodness The Situation just had to walk around the dance floor and not do much of the dancing. He’s a good sport
All of the dancers did an amazing job.
Most importantly the winner is…
NOT BRISTOL PALIN.
She got third place.
The winner is…
Jennifer Grey and Derek!
Congrats to them, the TV is off, and here’s hoping I get a few hours of constant sleep.
