Kourtney and Kim Kardashian are both working hard to lose weight – and there may be a little sister diet competition driving the two, according to In Touch Weekly magazine.
In Touch reports Kourtney has lost the baby weight and may be back to being the “skinny sister” once again.
Of course, celebrities are just ordinary people who have the same genetic issues and body type limitations as the rest of us.
Rumors were swirling that Jennifer Aniston, star of The Switch, and one of the stars from the DC Housewives may be anorexic. Luckily the Kardashian sisters do not look scary thin, although Kourtney appeared to have passed out from extreme diet during one episode of Kourtney and Khloe take Miami.
I tried the QuickTrim Fast Shake for a diet review before I’d even watched an episode of Kourtney and Khole Take Miami. I have to admit the show sucked me in – but I am a sucker for drama! The Kim diet shake did not impress me as much.
As far as extreme celebrity dieting, the Kardashians no doubt feel pressure to be thin.
Kim Kardashian is a pear-shape, which, according to the “Body Type Diet,” by Dr. Abravanel, means she is most likely a G or Gonadal Body Type. Most pear-shaped Gonadal types have the most difficult time slimming down.
Kim may be famous for her big butt, according to In Touch, but would prefer to look like her sister, Kourtney, who is probably a T-Type or Thyroid Body Type with some curves but a tendency to be naturally thin.
Kim Kardashian evidently failed at a no carb diet, In Touch reports. Most pear-shapes do better with whole grain carbohydrates in their diets, while T-Types do best avoiding caffeine and sugar.
So what about that other sister from Keeping Up With the Kardashians?
In Touch reports Khloe Kardashian has been looking thin lately. Is Khloe Kardashian pregnant? Not yet, but rumors are going around she is trying to have a baby with her husband, Lamar Odom.
It’s more than a little ridiculous that a person would hold off on having a baby because of worries about weight gain. But In Touch reports Khloe may be afraid of gaining pregnancy weight.
When it comes to any body jealousy or weight loss battle, I have always found competing with a sister to lose weight doesn’t work. It’s better to help each other stay motivated by working out together and being positive.
Bottom line, pun intended: Kim would be best to give up because Kourtney has the better body type for weight loss. And the idea of Khloe having a baby, instead of sharing in the sisterly weight obsession, makes the most sense.
