I am always very excited when I discover that I can retire a formerly purchased $5 or $6 product for a $1 product. And that’s just what I happened when I bought L.A. Colors® Nail Lacquer with Hardener in Bright Pink when I was last at the dollar store.
L.A. Colors® Nail Lacquer with Hardener in Bright Pink: Product Performance
The bottle itself was slightly smaller than what I’m used to with my standard brands of nail polish but for $1 really who cares, and the difference is ever so slight anyway. When I got home I set to trying out my new purchase, ever hopeful that I had found yet another way to cut costs. Following my standard base coat of clear I applied the first coat of bright pink and it came out in a good even streak-less coat.
The brush has a shorter stem (much like the new Rimmel polishes) making it a breeze to get color on without hitting your cuticles by mistake.
The only drawback I found as far as performance goes is that that the bottle needs to be shaken a good two or three times per hand, but for only a dollar per bottle I’ll put up with that. And thankfully, L.A. Colors® used my preferred round bottle packaging which makes it easy to give a little twirl in the palms to get the pigments stirred up.
L.A. Colors® Nail Lacquer with Hardener in Bright Pink: Overall
L.A. Colors® nail polish did chip somewhat easily but if you put a good clear topcoat on and don’t mind doing a touch up every three days or so you’ve got yourself a great new nail polish for only $1.
L.A. Colors® Nail Lacquer with Hardener in Bright Pink: Conclusion
I will and have gone back and purchased more L.A. Colors® nail polish shades and have been very happy with the beauty bargain discovery.
For price and ease of use I give L.A. Colors® Nail Lacquer with Hardener in Bright Pink four out of five stars.
