She’s never one to disappoint her fans, and Lady Gaga had quite a showing at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards last night (September 12).
Following a flamboyant white carpet arrival, the “Bad Romance” babe made her way inside to win a slew of shiny trophies, including the night’s top prize for Video of the Year.
During her Video of the Year acceptance speech, the 24-year-old belted out a few lyrics while announcing her new album will be titled “Born This Way”.
In related news, Gaga is hopping on the celebrity merchandising bandwagon and has signed a long time licensing deal with Coty Inc.
What this means is that the Lady will be developing signature fragrances for the brand, with her first scent due out in Spring 2012.
Celebrating her triumphant showing at the VMAs, GaGa was spotted at an after-party in Los Angeles last night.
The “Bad Romance” babe looked to be in good spirits as she mingled with fellow guests while taking her own entourage with her wherever she went.
One of Gaga’s many VMA getups was a “meat dress” which the Lady explained to press after the show.
“Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth. However, it has many interpretations. For me this evening, if we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights pretty soon, we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.”
