Renovating your home isn’t easy. It can be a big psychological decision, and an even bigger financial one. Even if you’re planning to make minor changes, the road from first thought, to more formalized idea, to finally showing off a new kitchen or bathroom can often be a little bumpy. By calling on the professional services of FBK Renovations of Bayonne, NJ, that road can be traveled a lot easier, and most importantly in these tough times, more economically.
FBK Renovations is located at 356 Broadway, right in the heart of downtown Bayonne, NJ. The business is owned by Mr. Lik Choi and managed by Michelle Wu. They specialize in home and office renovations – including kitchen cabinets, sinks, tile, and wood paneling. Recently, Ms. Wu greeted me warmly, and was kind enough to give me a tour of FBK’s showroom. The varied cabinet selection, sinks and many other home and office fixtures to fully remodel a modern kitchen or bathroom was numerous and impressed me.
Since everyone’s needs and requirements differ – sometimes greatly – FBK offers a free estimate for each customer’s design preferences. Don’t worry. Even if you have no idea of what you want now, they ‘ll help. Using digital technology by employing computer graphics to help visualize how a customer’s kitchen or bathroom will ultimately look when renovated, a family will have a much better idea of how their home will be changed. This not only speeds up the process, but cuts down on disappointments or unwanted “surprises” that were more common in the past.
Despite advances in estimate renovation digital technology, there’s no definitive set time frame for completion of each renovation job. Michelle Wu told me that generally a job will take approximately 3 – 5 business days. A change in job specs arising from someone changing their mind, or because of other unforeseen snags, or taking into account a time frame of the materials delivery can all contribute to and revise how long a project actually takes from start to finish.
FBK Renovations works with people to satisfy them. They welcome customer phone calls to set-up a formal date and time for a consultation, but they always welcome walk-in customers right off the street. Currently, there’s no company website online, but that should be coming along fairly soon.
