Brook is the most awesome dancer, instructor and dance partner you could ever want. The passion and talent meld perfectly in the elegant movements Brook makes. You will never find a more excellent dance instructor in the Denver area.
Brook is something of a prodigy to say the least. Starting at the age of fifteen, as a form of punishment, he danced. Two hours a day. His mother who is also a dancer, decided Brook needed some direction in his life and had him dancing ballroom for two hours a day. And when Brook was seventeen he knew that dance was going to be something in his life for a very long time. And the dance world is truly blessed to have his unique teaching ability and love for the art.
It was after a performance that he knew, deep down inside, that this was his life. And it didn’t take long after that when he started instructing. With in three years of dance Brook was already teaching people the passion of dance. And when you watch him dance, or even if you’re watching him instruct, you will know that you have found the perfect balance of dance and passion.
In his journey as a dancer Brook has had the opportunity to learn and instruct in Paris and Marseille, France. Since the age of eighteen Brook has lived is life’s passion of dance; a coach, a competitor, a choreographer and an instructor. Brook cannot imagine his life or career being anything other than dance or dance related.
Brook has a certain respect for any partner dance; Rumba, Argentine Tango, and all that is dance. He truly enjoys the American Smooth and International Standard; (Waltz, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Tango and the Quickstep dance). Brook continues to dance because he feels that it keeps him close to his growth as a human and he considers teaching dance to be the longest lesson of his life. Something that he loves and will continue to love. “Dance is the most beautiful expression that I know, it is my job to light the path for anyone who wishes to explore the expression”. With a devotion like that you are certain to find the right instructor in Brook.
Some of Brook’s inspiration for dance comes from many different forms and people; Bryan Watson is his favorite Latin dancer, and William Pino is his favorite Standard Dancer and there are many other people and dance forms that Brook would love to share with you.
