On Sunday, November 21st at 2PM inside the Baldwin Library, located at 300 West Merill, Detroit Free Press writer Dan Austin along with Detroit Free Press photographer Sean Doerr will be holding a discussion about their newest book, “Lost Detroit: Stories Behind the Motor City’s Majestic Ruins”, a beautiful photo filled booked featuring some of Detroit’s forgotten architectural treasures.
The two interviewed the people associated with the great majestic buildings left abandon in Detroit like the Michigan Central Station and the Michigan Theatre. They also encourage anyone who remembers some of Detroit’s forgotten gems to share their stories or experiences from any of the places mentioned in the book after their discussion.
