After registering new members, you can go back at any time and manage the members. You can edit the member’s information, remove members, and assign members to another group. In this guide, I will show you how to manage your site members in ExpressionEngine.
You will need to begin by opening your registered members page in ExpressionEngine. To do this, you can click the Admin tab at the top of your control panel. Then you can click the Members and Groups link in the box on the left. On the right side of the page, you will need to click the View Members link. Your page will then reload and you will see the registered members that are on your ExpressionEngine site.
Deleting Registered Members in ExpressionEngine
We will begin with deleting registered members in ExpressionEngine. If you have registered members you no longer want registered on your site, follow these steps to remove them. On the view members page, you will need to find the member you want to remove and click the box to the far right of the member. At the bottom of the View Members page, you will need to click the drop down box and select the Delete option. Click the Submit button and the member will be removed from your site.
Editing Registered Members in ExpressionEngine
Next, I will show you how to edit your registered members. You will need to make your way to the View Members page if you are not on it. Then you will need to click the name of the member you want to edit. Once you click the name, you will see the details for the member and you can change what you need. Then save your updated information.
Assign Members to Different Groups in ExpressionEngine
You can also assign your members to different groups in ExpressionEngine. To do this, you will need to open the View Members page and click the name of the member you want to change. On the member’s information page, drop the box down and select another group for the member. Save your information and the member’s group will be changed.
