Mar did not rise last night and take its place above the moon. What has been circulating through emails and those ridiculous forwarding messages was nothing more than a “hoax.” The hoax was actually very enticing and interesting, one that had been intriguing millions of people for years since 2004.
Scientist actually say mars and the moon are nowhere near one another at this point, and those who were looking, surely did not see it rise larger than the moon last night. Actually, according to Nasa, If Mars comes close to the moon it would rival the Moon and its gravity would alter Earth’s orbit and raise terrible tides. So, it is really nothing to become excited about seeing or have to witness.
The best place to find out information on such scientific finding is the NASA website. Usually you can find out the lastest developments and good information on space and if any foreign objects are racing toward earth; they probably would be among the first people to report it. It probably would be a wise thing to do before sending emails to all your co-workers, your boss and many of your friends. There are tons of ridiculous hoax spreading across the internet, sometimes making articles you read questionable. Some information sent over the internet such as hoax like this could send millions of people in a panic as well. It’s important to research your facts before spreading such rumors around.
As for the Mars hoax you can believe it will rise again, and those who did not get the email this year and realize it was a hoax, will be staring out their windows looking for Mars to take its place above the moon.
