Fisher-Price, a toddler and preschool division of toy mogul Mattel recalls a record four toy lines on September 30, 2010. Recalled are: Baby Playzone, Healthy Care, Easy Clean, Close to Me highchairs, trikes and Little Peoples Stand ‘n’ Play Rampway. This is a record number of recalls in one day. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) details product recalls.

Cause of recall: Fisher-Price Inflatable toys are recalled because the inflation valve detaches and can cause choking, swallowing and ingestion hazards. CPSC lists 46 reported cases of detached valve in the US, and eight in Canada. 14 children mouthed the valve and three began to choke.

Cause of recall: High chairs are recalled due to falls and laceration injuries on pegs located on the back of the high chairs.
Fisher-Price Little People toy recall:
Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies Stand ‘n Play Rampway
Cause of recall: The wheels on the purple car and the green car come off and pose a mouthing, swallowing and choking hazard.
Fisher-Price childrens trikes (tricycles)
Tough Trikes toddler tricycles
Cause of recall: D-shaped or disc shaped pretend key protrudes from plastic ignition. Child can strike, sit or fall against key, resulting in serious injury, including genital bleeding. CPSC notes 10 recorded injuries.
