Monopoly 2010, currently underway at McDonalds, may be responsible for jumpstarting the economy – at least for a little while. Customers will be flocking to the King of Fast Food between now and November 1, hoping to win big — and have a little on fun along the way. For additional opportunities to win, the game is available online until November 15.

See official rules for a full listing of prizes.

How to Play
For the In-Store game: Peel each stamp of the game piece from its backing to determine if it is an instant winner or if it is part of a possible winning combination. Use your game board to keep track of your game stamps.
For the online game: An 11-digit game code, imprinted on each game stamp, can be entered here or by text messaging.
Detailed Game Rules and Guidelines can be found here.
Chances to Win
There is about a 25% chance of winning In-Store instant prizes. Chances to collect and win prizes are significantly less because McDonalds controls the number of prizes by limiting the number of properties made available. Rare properties are:
1. Mediterranean Avenue
2. Vermont Avenue
3. Virginia Avenue
4. Tennessee Avenue
5. Kentucky Avenue
6. Short Line Railroad
7. Ventnor Avenue
8. Pennsylvania Avenue
More Fun than the Lottery
As with the Lottery, chances are slim that you will be a big winner, but you will have a lot of fun trying. Unlike the Lottery, though, playing McDonald’s Monopoly will cost you a lot less. After all, how much can you spend at McDonalds in a month?
So even if you don’t win, how can you lose?
