I first fell in love with Merlot products when I tried the Merlot All Natural Grape Seed Clay Mask. That love has been reignited thanks to Merlots Purifying Peel-off Mask. Like many women, I find myself looking for skin care products that make my skin look and feel fantastic for a minimal price. With all of the products clogging the shelves, it is difficult to know which products are worth owning. If you are wondering if Merlot’s Peel-off mask is worth it, you’ve come to the right place.
“Merlot’s breakthrough formula combines grape seeds, nature’s most powerful antioxidant, with lemon, grapefruit, orange peel and ginseng extracts, which help to soften, firm, and protect against stress” (Merlotskincare.com). It is the most gentile peel-off mask I have ever encountered. The beautiful purple tinted mask goes on light and smooth and does not have the same level of tackiness that other peel-off masks have. However, you may want to be sure that you pull your hair back so none of it gets stuck to your face.
A thin layer is all you need to apply to your face to get fantastic results. If you put on a thicker layer of the mask it will be easier to pull off as the thinner mask tends to become flakey and does not pull off as clean. This mask is not painful to remove no matter how thick you apply it. I actually tested the “ouch factor” by layering on the mask as thick as I could and the removal remained just as pain free as it was with a thinner layer. Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mask in Cucumber used to be the peel-off mask that I constantly went back to but it does pack a punch when it comes to removal which meant I could not use it as much as I would like. Merlot on the other hand is so gentile it can be used a few times a week.
Once you apply your layer of the mask, all you have to do is lay back and relax. You will want to wait for 10 to 15 minutes or until you can touch your face and not feel any tackiness. Once you are ready to peel, get yourself in front of a mirror as there are almost always a few remaining flakes of mask on your face after the majority has been peeled off. I like to being peeling from my chin as it is a larger area and you can grasp the mask with both hands and peel up towards your forehead usually getting the mask off in one shot. Once you have peeled the mask, remove any flakes from your hairline or brows with a dab of water.
After your mask is removed you will enjoy cleaner skin and pores that appear much smaller than before the mask was applied. Your skin will feel soft and look radiant. I love Merlot so much that it has become a normal part of my skin care routine and do in fact use it at least twice a week.
Merlot is the perfect gentile facial peel-off mask that I have encountered so far and the results that I get from using it look more like the results from a day at the spa rather than from a quick at home facial from a drug store. If you cannot find Merlot at your local drug store be sure to visit them online at www.Merlotskincare.com.
