With Halloween quickly approaching, you may be looking for a free way to create Halloween Greeting Cards. If you own Microsoft Publisher, you can create them right from that program. With a few steps, you can have your Halloween greeting card created and printed. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to create Halloween greeting cards in Microsoft Publisher 2007. You can begin by opening your Publisher program.
Step 1 – Selecting Your Halloween Greeting Card
Your first step is to select your Halloween greeting card you want to use. On the left side of Publisher, look for the Greeting Card option and click it. In the center panel, you will see all of the greeting cards that are available. To save you time, click the Holiday link at the top of the greeting cards. Scroll pass the Christmas cards and you will see the Halloween greeting cards. Find the one you want to use and click it
Step 2 – Customizing the Halloween Greeting Card Settings
Your next step is to customize your Halloween greeting card settings. In the panel on the far right, you will see the Color Scheme and the Font Scheme. If you want to change these two options, drop the boxes down and make your selections. Then go to the bottom of the panel and select the size card you want to create. Click the Create button to begin creating your greeting card.
Step 3 – Creating Your Halloween Greeting Card
Once you click the Create button in the above step, your greeting card will open in the main publisher window. You can go through and make changes to the text, graphics, and anything else you need to make changes to. If you need to add more text, you will need to grab the Text Box tool and draw a text box on your card. Then you can type what you want. Once you have the Halloween greeting card the way you want it, you can save it and proceed to print it.
Step 4 – Printing Your Halloween Greeting Card
To print your Halloween greeting card, you will need to click the Print option in the File menu. You may have to adjust your printer settings to print the greeting card correctly. The best way to tell is to print one and check it.
You do not have to print your Halloween greeting card, instead, you can save it to your computer and email it if you want.
