Weight: Back home to my lovely, off kilter scale: 172#
Silhouette: Mirrors are the same everywhere. Bummer
Attitude: Realizing the longevity of this diet concept. It’s a life changing proposition that needs to be addressed with sticktoitiveness.
Breakfast Having said that….I had a couple of pieces of cinnamon raisin toast with very little (token) butter. Half a banana.
Lunch: I didn’t really have any lunch. A few (wait for it….)grapes, while running chores.
Dinner: Dinner for me was composed by the need to clear out the leftovers! Skipping lunch comes back to haunt a guy with the need to ‘catch up’. I had some blando spaghetti with a piece of Texas Toast, a bowl of spinach stuffed ricotta, and a bowl of garlic chicken noodly stuff.
Challenges: Does a small slice of cheesecake count if it is accompanied by a bunch of sliced strawberries? Does it count if it is eaten as part of a responsible effort to clean out the fridge? Didn’t think so; that’s why I didn’t mention it in the MENU section.
Thoughts: Ok, so I can feel the tendency to lose control trying to gain control. Not good. I know I can resist hunger’s nagging voice. And I will. My coming Grandchildren need me, not just to be alive, but to be fit for all kinds of troub….I mean fun.
