Weight: Early morning measure: Pretty close to 171# (ish)!
Silhouette: Patience is its own reward
Attitude: Very positive!
Breakfast Nada! I kept delaying breakfast again and again and all of a sudden it was lunchtime!
Lunch: Victoria came home today with Lily, so we went out for lunch. I had a deluxe chicken fajita wrap with fries and soup. And a nectarine later.
Dinner: Tonight we had some spinach stuffed rigatoni. (I dipped mine in ranch dressing. Just a little!) A plum, and half a banana. One little square of a raspberry bar (yes, a dessert that I had to have cause Victoria gave it to me!)! And it was very good Victoria.
Challenges: Another Dr. office today, and there was the cotton ball jar full of Tootsie Pops!Whereas I used to fill my pockets (shameful admission in the ‘challenges’ section?), today I left them alone! SUCCESS!
Thoughts: I had a thought today. Yes I did. This year, winter and spring, I started eating a 6oz. yogurt cup every day. Now I’m beginning to realize what a bunch of calories that entailed! Maybe that was another contributing factor to my silhouette adjustment.
Today I actually began to notice a reduction in my middle. Not so visibly in the mirror as much as in the feel and motion of my self. This is very encouraging. I think I can now delineate a few good principles of a successful diet:
1) Eat less.
2) Refuse to indulge yourself with unnecessary intakes (live without treats).
3) Don’t get cocky and start ‘delineating principles’ if you’ve only been doing this for 12 days!
Well, two out of three ain’t bad eh?
