Weight: Early morning measure: 172#
Silhouette: Patience is a virtue!
Attitude: Fine, fine, thank you.
Breakfast Poured a bowl of cereal, but the milk was bad (silly storm caused an 8 hour power outage Friday night), so I had two pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey. Then the youth group made breakfast at church and I had two pancakes, a piece of ham and a splash of applesauce.
Lunch: The pancakes were closer to lunchtime so I just had 2/8ths of a frozen pizza for lunch. Then a plum and an orange later.
Dinner: Pre-dinner grapes. Skillet dinner of garlic chicken, pasta and veggies, with a couple (yes, two) Texas toast slices. And a nectarine for dessert.
Challenges: With hunger pains through the afternoon, I was mentally scouring the kitchen for edible ideas, but resisted well. Walked through Fleet Farm and took good notice of the Haagen Dazs ice cream cooler, but kept walking. SUCCESS! Went past the candy bars too, (SUCCESS) but admit I did buy a nice Wonder Bar with zero fat, zero cholesterol and zero calories, in the tool aisle! DOUBLE SUCCESS!
Thoughts: Thanks for being there, faithful reader. You are helping me keep in line.
One interesting aspect of this process is my realization of just how much food, and of how much junky food, I have been prone to eat! So often I have readily said yes, and now must deal with the bulgy consequences.
