Silhouette: That’s more like it!
Attitude: Very Gratified!
Breakfast: My meals have all consisted of a somewhat dwindled plate.
Lunch: Instead of being filled, I’ve learned to settle for not being starved.
Dinner: Thinking deliberately about what is in front of me, rather than ingesting eagerly whatever is near me!
Challenges: Everywhere we go in America, there will always be a challenge to our will power. Yesterday at Aldi’s, I grabbed a KitKat to share with my wife. When she declined her half, I put the whole thing aside for later. Maybe she’ll accept a portion at another time, or maybe I’ll have to share it with myself. Can a guy eat half of such a little candy bar and save the rest for later? We shall see if I can claim one more “SUCCESS”!
The challenges we each face will always abound. What to do with our bodies, yes. But what to do with our time? Our energy? Our goods? Our money?
How to be a good steward of the patience, the love, the anger, or the concern that we carry, and are called upon to dole out each day as we go through our allotted years. These are the real challenges that matter most.
Thoughts: I think that through this process, I now have a handle on my middle. I mean, I think I will avoid having handles on my middle! The MikroDiet has caused me to rethink my eating habits, and the accountability of writing it every day for those few weeks, has succeeded in changing my dietary patterns.
*Everything ingested matters-even little things.
*I can be satisfied without being stuffed.
*Self discipline is vital to make the right choices.
*Eating nutritiously should trump being filled.
*Allow plenty of time for change; both to modify habits, and for the body to follow.
Finally, if your body is not in the shape a human body of your frame and gender should be in, you too can make a few adjustments to its feeding and care that will help it finds its proper proportions. One fewer of this or that at first, and over time, the change will come.
