With the many opportunities to see and enjoy such diverse, creative works from various generations of artists, visitors of all ages and interests can either spend an hour or the entire day inside the museum.

Location and Transportation
The museum is located on the east of downtown Milwaukee, along Lake Michigan. Travelers can follow the I-94 or I-43 downtown to I-794 east, then exit at the Lakefront (Exit 1F). From there, proceed north on Lincoln Memorial Drive to the Art Museum Drive.
Those bringing cars or SUVs can use the Museum Underground Parking, a heated/air-conditioned parking found directly below the museum. This parking area is accessible from Michigan Street or the Lincoln Memorial Drive.
Those taking public transit can ride the Milwaukee County Transit Bus Route #10. It stops on the west side of the Mason Street bridge, just west of the Milwaukee Art Museum.
As of October 2010, the museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is open until 8:00 p.m. every Thursdays. It is closed every Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Museum members and children 12 and under enter the museum for free. The museum is also wheelchair and stroller accessible.
An All-Access Pass that features exhibition and collection galleries cost $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students (non-members). Since the museum schedule and the fees are always subject to change, it is best to visit the museum’s official website or call 414-224-3200 to get updated information.
Patrons of the museum have the option to become a Museum Member. Each member receives free admission to the museum, discounts at the Museum Store (usually up to 10 percent), discounts on classes, invitations to member preview parties, among other perks and benefits. A member can also get free entrances to various events including the Target Family Sundays, MAM After Dark, gallery talks, and other lectures.
