When troubles start to piling up
And money is running low,
Is when a spat,
Over this or that,
Starts the tempers to grow.
Money’s the root of all evil,
It’s been that way since time began.
When you can’t pay your bills,
Is when all other ills,
Start popping up out of the sand.
So when tempers start into rising,
And problems pop out of the blue,
Just give it a pause
And look at the cause.
Take care of the bills when they’re due.
Once you have conquered the problem,
That’s been bugging both you and your spouse,
You’ll no longer fight
All day and all night,
About trivial things ’round your house.
