Want to help out those with cystic fibrosis and play a good game of golf? Come out to the Morgan Stanley Golf Invitational benefiting CFF at Chardonnay Golf Club on Oct. 22 to make a difference.
Each year, San Francisco residents and golfers alike show up to raise over $100,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Fund. This year golfers can register at different levels, depending on the amount of money they would like donate to the CFF. For example, an Eagle Sponsor will donate $10,000, while a single player will donate $359. The invitational is played in teams of four and will compete against an array of skilled players. The fees include the golf cart, a trick shot demo, tee prizes, raffle tickets, box lunch and a buffet dinner.
Spectators are more than welcome to attend the golf tournament and will be asked to make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Fund. Furthermore, spectators can join in on the festivities by paying a nominal fee. Information about tickets and fees can found at www.theAlist.org.
The following is the scheduled itinerary for the festive and generous day of golf:
• 10:00-11:45 a.m.: Registration & Putting Contest
• 11:15-11:45 a.m.: Trick Shot Demonstration by Ben Witter
• 12:00 p.m.: Shotgun Start
FORMAT, Handicapped Shamble (Modified Scramble) Contests: Hole-in-one, Long Drive, Putting, and Closest-to-Pin
• 5 p.m.: Cocktail Reception, Silent Auction
• 5:45 p.m.: Dinner, Awards and Live Auction
